HIGH CARB DAY AKA REFEED DAY AKA CHEAT DAY


How long have you been dieting ? 


Where you on a low carbohydrate diet for a long period of time ?


If you were on a low carbohydrate diet for a very long time then you need to take a refeed day.
Your maintenance calories approx = Your Body weight in Kg * 33

So on a refeed day you will be eating 500 calories over your maintenance calories and the main macro you should concentrate on will be carbs that is good carbs and aim for consuming about 400 Grams of grams.
When you have been on a low carb diet for a very long time your Leptin level drops (leptin controls fat burning , so consider Leptin as a fuel that runs a Bus so what happens when you run out of fuel ? The bus stops !) So to refill your Leptin back to its normal value you need to take a refeed day AKA a high carb day !

But make sure to consume good source of carbohydrates on your refeed day or else it will make you to gain water weight and sometimes you may experience some bloating.
When you have lost a lot of weight over some period of time you have to start doing refeed day to fill back your hormone levels back to its normal level and if you still have some weight to lose then I recommend you to do a refeed day after every four days.

You won't gain weight with a refeed day its like taking a step back so that you can go two steps forward :)
